  • What is the cost of your services?

Pricing varies depending on the scope and complexity of the project. Please contact us for a tailored quote based on your specific needs.

  • Do you audit landscapes and streetscapes?

Yes. Our consultants provide accessibility audits across the full journey – to, through, and from a place or space. This often includes travel to the site (e.g. by bus, taxi, walking, or driving), the surrounding landscape, and the building itself.

  • How long does an audit typically take? Can you work to a specific timeline?

Project timelines depend on the nature and requirements of each engagement. We are happy to work to a specific deadline where possible and will confirm feasibility during initial discussions. As a general guide, for an average-sized project, you can expect a draft report within two weeks of the site audit or once plan documentation has been received.

  • Will you clarify what is required for compliance versus best practice?

Yes. We’ll clearly differentiate between mandatory compliance requirements and recommended best practice options, so you can make informed decisions. If we’re conducting an audit for you, our approach is to do it once and provide a comprehensive set of recommendations – including those you may choose to implement later.

  • Do you consider the nuances of our project when making recommendations (e.g., ANARP)?

Absolutely. We take into account the specific context and constraints of your project to provide realistic and practical recommendations, including ANARP (as nearly as reasonably practicable) considerations.

  • Can the training and seminars be tailored to suit our audience and needs?

Yes. We customise seminars to align with your audience, objectives, and sector-specific requirements to ensure relevance and impact. Training can have a compliance or building user focus, or both.

  • Who do you typically work with?

We tailor our training for a wide range of audiences, including government department staff, architects, planners, designers, landscape architects and building consent officials. Many councils use our training across the wider council teams.

Our accessibility consulting services support a range of professionals in the built environment – such as architects, designers, planners, and consent officers – offering practical, project-specific advice.

  • Will you provide a marked-up version of our plan?

Yes. We can provide a marked-up version of your plan with clear annotations and recommendations to guide your next steps, in addition to a full report, if required.

  • Will you update the report after we make changes?

We can provide report updates following changes, depending on the scope outlined in the service agreement. This can be discussed and agreed upon during project planning. Typically, audit reports are intended for implementation rather than ongoing updates. However, if we’re involved throughout the design stages, we can include an updated and prioritised tag list as part of the reporting – if requested.

  • At what stage of the project do you typically get involved?

We can engage at any stage – whether you're just starting out, midway through, or nearing completion. Early involvement often allows for more strategic input and smoother implementation.
